Title: Dead Planet’s Detriment
Night grows long, and dawn breaks dark For a dead planet no one will remark Loss of hope, loss of dreams Change that must come – or it’s nothing it seems Once wild dreams of unity died The cries of nature around us still increase in pride
Fate has determined our silence wont reign For the blame of our loss - no amount pays Leadership will bring us out of this abyss A revival of nature – and hope no one will miss The future belongs to the motivated few Help the planet from fate – all of us must do.
Stride forward towards our true responsibility Determination to save the planet - with resilience and glee Though we may fall and stumble at stages in-between Miracles may come – the fate of the planet and world unseen We can learn from failures of the past This time, with this stride, a greater future is cast
Fortune in our favor, we must all venture ahead In this, inevitable results for us our planet must dread The lockdown will encircle us with growing dismay Heaven must have thought our planet would look a certain way We must not leave this responsibility to chance Now is our fortune to reverse this plan.
Beginning the journey of sustainability with grace Strength beyond measure – our planet we must embrace Setting goals that can be rarely achieved The future our children deserve – must be retrieved We cannot accept moving forward to go broker Past the beginning of this sad chapter.
Life over our planet is still lingering - its presence yet strong As we learn more of its perils – our faith must stay long With hearts full of hope, our journey must start To win this war
