Partisan Divide

Title: Partisan Divide

Party line vote gives the go-ahead, An impeachment inquiry we now tread. Divisions deepen, a nation strays, Amidst the echoes of opposing displays.

The chambers rumble, heated debates, Accusations hurled, animosity, and hates. Lines are drawn like battle cries, As democracy fights to survive.

The gavel falls, voices entwined, Suffocating unity, leaving no room to find, Common ground where once it thrived, Now fragmented, shattered, and deprived.

Yet hope remains, a flickering light, Amidst the darkness, a resolute fight, To bridge the gap, to unite once more, And heal the wounds that deeply sore.
