Reflections of a Broken Bond

Title: Reflections of a Broken Bond

In the realm of political divide, A chasm deepens, a rift we cannot hide. Caught in the fray, the non-white, working-class, A bleeding voter base, betrayed alas.

Oh, Democrats, once champions of the weak, Why does your mirror bring about a bleak Reality, where promises made dissent, And hope morphs into disillusionment?

For years, we sought solace in your embrace, Dreaming of progress, seeking equal space. But were we but pawns in your grand design, Used for our votes, then left behind?

The issues we face are no secret to you, Economic disparity, prejudice, too. Yet, your empty rhetoric falls on deaf ears, As our struggles continue, feeding our fears.

It is time, dear leaders, for introspection, To mend the bonds, reverse this direction. Liberate yourselves from the web of deceit, And rediscover empathy, the missing beat.

For Democrats, hear this heartfelt plea, Restore the trust, rebuild what used to be. For in unity lies the strength we crave, To heal our nation, our democracy to save.
