Surrendered Shadows
In Gaza's heart, a hospital abode, Where shadows of conflict oft bestowed, More than 70 souls, warriors no more, Lay down their arms, strength replaced by remorse.
A gesture of peace, an olive branch extended, Amidst the chaos, hopes newly amended, Weapons relinquished, a surrender so profound, Seeds of peace sown on this hallowed ground.
Fear and hostility, once etched in the air, Now replaced by whispers of peace and repair, A turning point reached, a chance to heal, Surrendered shadows, wounds begin to seal.
Yet amidst the surrender, more lies concealed, Firearms uncovered, secrets yet revealed, A reminder that change takes time and trust, In the pursuit of peace, truth is a must.
A glimpse of hope shines through the haze, As warriors become peacemakers in these days, From shadows to light, a transformation found, In surrender, humanity's true strength is crowned.
