Reinstated, Backpay, Chokehold, Elijah, Officer, Injustice
Justice, they call it, but this isn't right, An Officer putting Elijah in a chokehold with all his might. That officer is now reinstated, with two hundred grand to boot, Seems like an insult to Elijah and those that now pout.
Injustice has reared its ugly head, As wrongdoings and terrible deeds are left for dead. Rights the wrongs done, most try to do, But this Officer's is one that's not so few.
Reinstated? With backpay as well? This is a shock to many from which they can not quell. What of the family of Elijah, his own and his kin? Incorrect decisions all around, where does it begin?
This Officer, a wrongful act has done, But with two hundred thousand, his chances aren't none. His unrighteousness should be held accountable, But justice in this case, is sadly not plausible.
More recompense, more than deserved, To right the wrongs that Elijah observed. But injustice rings through in this reign, Where Elijah is gone and this Officer remains.
